Date Unknown, date range 1963-1964.Item Ella Fitzgerald with Sister Roseanne and Students(1972-04-01T00:00:00-08:00)Text on back of picture reads: " A special Lady, Ella Fitzgerald, received a special welcome at the Special School of the Sisters of Notre Dame this week. The 108 students wrote 50 letters inviting Miss Fitzgerald to visit their school on the University of Dallas campus. Sister Roseanne left letters at the desk in the Fairmount Hotel where Miss Fitzgerald is now appearing in the Venetian Room. Within an hour and a half, Miss Fitzgerald, herself, called the school accepting the invitation." Taken in February or March 1972.
