New Look: Art on Campus Virtual Event
(University of Dallas, 2020-09-30T00:00:00-07:00) Hayes, Christina; Gayler-Smith, Shelley
To accompany the Beatrice M. Haggerty Gallery exhibition â New Look: Art on Campus,â Gallery Director Christina Hayes Haley and University Archivist Shelley Gayler-Smith take a look at the history of art on campus in all its different forms. Together they share some of the amazing stories theyâ ve uncovered as they work to digitize the collection and exhibition histories of both the Haggar and Beatrice M. Haggerty Gallery. It is impossible to talk about the history of art on campus without singing the praises of Professor Emeritus of Art Lyle Novinskiâ s lifetime of work establishing the collection. Join us as we take a new look at art on campus and show you how we plan to share this rich history with you. Originally presented on September 30, 2020.
